Marketing

The communications and marketing teams in the College of Engineering provide leadership and support to promote the college and enhance its reputation through strategic marketing and communications.

We support the college brand

The key to strong marketing is a strong marketing strategy. Being too focused on tactics can lead to inefficient or ineffective messages. We encourage you to use the marketing project brief (below, in our “Tools you can use” section) to prompt the questions that lead to better marketing outcomes and we suggest developing annual marketing plans to be proactive as possible.

Below you will find tools to help you deliver important messages consistently, with the correct branding (logos, fonts, color schemes) and designs that incorporate best marketing practices.

You can also find more information and resources in UW-Madison’s brand and style guide.

Web Guidelines

The College of Engineering’s website is a digital representation of the brand. As an extension of the brand, our web presence is important to engage the audiences we serve and reflect their needs.

Tools you can use

One way you can help support and amplify the UW-Madison College of Engineering brand is to take advantage of templates we’ve created for many purposes: leveraging a variety of applications you probably already use. One note about logos: While we have shared access to these files via UW-Madison Box, we ask that you adhere to the usage guidelines (for print; the same are true for web or other digital media) set forth for the suite of UW-Madison logos.
