We invite you to submit project topics now for consideration as part of the 2022-2023 AMIC Seed Program. This program offers an opportunity for AMIC member companies to connect with top graduate students and postdocs interested in materials and related topics at UW–Madison. It provides you a unique chance to explore projects of interest to your business that you might not otherwise be able to pursue. Selected seed projects will be funded by the AMIC for up to nine months.
At this stage, we are looking for general project topics, rather than detailed project proposals. All suggested project topics will be presented to MRSEC students and post-docs. The students will then select a topic of interest to them and work with you to develop a project proposal. Allowing the students to create the full proposal allows them to take ownership of the project and increases the value of the experience for the student.
