This Wednesday I had a great session facilitating the research discussion between Prof. Bu Wang’s group and GLC minerals, a 150-year-old and five-generation business located in Green Bay, Wisconsin on UW-Madison campus: Not only I was impressed by Bu’s negative carbon capture technology, cementitious materials research, Sean, director of the company’s innovation center, also expressed a strong desire to collaborate with Bu’s research group through UW COE’s industrial partnership. During the tour of our facilities at the college of engineering, I was amazed at the sight of the Wisconsin structures and materials testing laboratory situated in the basement of our engineering hall.
If your business has a research need and likes to receive access to faculty and students for research discussions, and collaborative research, we are happy to facilitate!
